Sam Durard and his wife Jamie spent a week at Ocho Cascadas in Conchas Chinas. 'Ocho Cascadas' means 'Eight Waterfalls' and this beautiful complex is exactly that, 8 condos with 8 waterfalls running from pool to pool. We lived across the street from this resort for 6 years and saw some pretty zany stunts performed in these waterfalls. Not exactly like going over Niagara Falls in a barrel but pretty impressive just the same. |

Sam and his party had also chosen the ANTICIPATION for the 7th and hoped for a trophy fish. This is what they landed, a giant Yellow fin tuna that tipped the scales at 325 pounds. This was a team effort and each of the 6 anglers had the opportunity to feel the brute strength of a fish this powerful. This was a whole lot of Sushi and Sam and his family and friends enjoyed this feast at Ocho Cascadas for several days. |
